Note: When Bob graduated from high school in 1948, he had no plans of attending college. So he went to work alongside his father in the cotton and potato fields. It was Jim who convinced his brother to go back to school. Bob would later follow in Jim's footsteps by joining the Air Force and becoming a fighter pilot.
