| Note: Jim and Joan dated some while in high school, but more so while the two of them went to Bakersfield College together. She graduated from Delano High in 1949, two years after Jim. They attended many dances and social affairs at college. Jim was involved with the American Association of Engineers, which was the club for engineering students, so both of them went on many of the club's outings. |
